Soo because I complained to the boss ONCE about working hours and how we work more in a month than is legal without being paid overtime, she got the even bigger boss to come up from Nagoya to Kanazawa to yell at us about it. Basically what I got from it was, "Can't change it. Deal."

So frustrated with my new boss. She's making me travel 2 1/2 hrs to and from work once a week... And I have to work 8 hrs (plus a 1 hr break of course) between that. And she doesn't seem to understand why I'm complaining about it. Graaaah

Soo... I took a job in Niigata. Yay. Best place in the world! But I feel ridiculously bad about leaving my current job on only 2 wks notice. But you know... If my boss had been fair and actually distributed the work more evenly, I wouldn't have left...

Oh, and yes, we had many (*many*) conversations about changing the schedule. Didn't stick.

Thinking.
I've had tons of fun with my new friends the past few weeks. I wish I could find more (any) gays/lesbians to hang out with though. It's a bit harder to come to terms with my sexuality when I feel like a little island of abnormality on the larger island of Kyushu. That said, my friends have been really supportive.
